my Rollei colleection consists of the following:
Rollei 35B
Rollei 35S (my second wife, but don't tell!)
Rollei QZ 35W (best lens on any zoom rangefinder, gave up my Leica M6, since this one is so great)
Rolleiflex SL 35, made in Germany (still a great camera, even though the meter is somewhat slow)
Rolleiflex SL 35, made in Singapore (as above, but faster meter)
Rolleiflex SL 350, what a great tool!
Rolleiflex SL 35e, the Planar 1.4/50 is outstanding!
Rolleiflex 2.8E with Schneider lens, have to get a Maxwell screen
Rolleiflex 2.8F 12/24, got a Maxwell screen, wow!
Rolleiflex 2.8GX, there is no better camera on this planet. the coating of the Planar produces the most beautiful, almost 3D slides!
Baby Rollei, gray. i use a Gossen Digisix and mostly b&w film. This is my companion for hiking and bycicling. Be aware, some Maco films use a larger spool, making the winding difficult
Rolleiflex 6006, great!
Rolleiflex 6003, even better
Rollei Projector P11 ( two of them) i just love them
Rollei Projector 66AV
Rollei Projector 66 dual P, the Schneider lens, the quietness and the operating comfort elevate this machine right to the top of projector heaven
Rollei Projector 8301, the first generation of twin projectors. Great projector, but the 150W is just a little weak
Rollei Projector 360, there is nothing better out there, even today, especially with the Rollei Apogon lenses
Rollei Polarizing filters Bay 3, unfortunately, they are starting to separate. I will purchase a new one, forget the cost
Rollei Distagon for the 6003
Rollei Angulon for the 6003
Rollei/Metz flash adpter
and many more little things.
i have about 80 cameras and many lenses for them, including Leica, Nikon, Pentax and others. But Rollei is the best. Reliability is another issue, The Rollei's are old. However, the TLRs and the Rollei 35s have never let me down. Not in the cold - I live in Canada- nor in the hot - we escape frequently to Cuba.
oh, i almost forgot, i also have all the Rollei books from Claus Prochnow. I am an engineer myself, designing the craziest things for automobiles, but I still envy Claus. Look at the development of the SL 35! These guys were geniuses!
