My name is Daniel and I'm from Zurich, switzerland.

I own a Rolleiflex 6006 and a 6003 Pro. With the 6003 Pro I have a funny problem:

Picture 1
On my "screen" the last 4 symbols are not present. I have just red LED's.

Picture 2 + 3 .
The Manual mode ist not working properly. When I change the aperture on the lens, it changes on the "screen". If I change the time it shos me 30" or 15". Nothing else

Anybody have an idea???

Despite being into photography for many years going from simple film to complicated film to digital and back to film as I miss the feel (still use digital but you can't beat that Ilford B&W grain), i've never, until recently had the chance to use a Rollei 35, recently I bought a B35 and was stunned by the image quality of this 'lesser lensed' Rollei, I got a 35 shortly after and having given it a bit of a clean as it had sat in a drawer for several years apparently, am waiting to complete and develop my first roll of film through it.
I've just gotten a 35 LED to complete the 35 collection, (OK, I know there's the 35S and TE and so on but this will do for now), and unfortunately there's a fault with the metering LED's it's currently showing the RHS red LED only indicating overexposed regardless of the aperture setting, shutter speed setting and ISO setting.
Through some fiddling I briefly once got the other two LED's to flash briefly whilst fiddling with the shutter speed ring on the lens, but it's doing nothing now.
I wondered if any among you have had a similar experience with a 35 LED and know of a solution?

I've replaced the batteries with fresh ones in an adapter I use for my Minox cameras incidentally and know they're providing enough power, thanks.

Mike

Hi,

I found this old Rolleicord in a yard sale. I am having trouble identifying it. My camera has a sync receptacle on the upper right corner. All the research I have done and I can't find one like mine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The shutter seams to fire well. I am thinking of restoring it.

Thanks,

Auto Aperture seems to answer me when i push the DOF test button.
But even when i remove the lens from the body, shutter stays closed..
Do you have an idea of what's happening ?

I've been a member for quite a while, but not so active. I have just acquired a old stock brand new Rolleiflex Sl 2000F, all seem to work, but the meter reading is about 4-5 stops. Is there anyone who has the same experience and is there any way to fix or adjust the sensitivity? Even when I dial down the asa the reading doesn't change, though the shutter speeds change when I change the aperture or when the light changes. Thank you very much.

Anyway,

I was given today by my grandfather what appears to be a rolleicord 1a model 3. Looks like it belonged to my late grandmother's uncle....

Anyway, I don't know a ton about film other than the 35 mm my mom had as a kid, and it's been so long.

The rolleicord I "inherited" .... It also had film in it! on #12 so the last one... but unfortunately my mom opened it so who knows, but I finished winding it and extracted it. I might be able to salvage the first photos.

A few questions:
1. where can I send it to be developed? I do not know any local labs or camera stores any more that service this old of a camera.
2. where can I buy more film for it? (sorry dont know too much about film It uses Kodacolor c22 color negative 120 film)

I tested it and it does work. (I was told to point it at bright light after removing the film and if I saw a flash when I moved the shutter it worked, and there was def a white flash) So... I'd love to see what's on it, I'd love to test it out with more film! Also is there a good service place for old cameras that can clean it. I am a little afraid to mess too much. It looks in "OK" condition.

Thanks, tell me everything I'm so excited. Photo attached.
How can I clean the viewing glass.

I'm brand new to the Rolleiflex space, and I have two questions (at the moment!). Both may be answered somewhere, but after an hour or two of searching on each I cannot find definitive answers. Thanks in advance!

1. Usage: When I look at Rollei flikr groups and things, all of the pictures have that lovely vintage look. The colors and everything have those muted, beautiful tones. I'm wondering what is responsible for this? Obviously each print is a complicated combination of factors, but if I take my Rolleiflex and put in some normal 120 film, and have it developed in the standard way, will I be seeing these vintage-esque colors and things? Or is it special film, special developing, after-effects? I hate to say this, but it's like a very subtle "instagram" filter effect, and i'm just wondering what is contributing most to it? An example of a shot I think is beautiful: https://www.flickr.com/photos/williamad ... 00033@N21/

2. Restoration: The Rolleiflex MX-EVS I ordered seems to be in great shape. Seller said it had a recent CLA, and works flawlessly.... Only thing I noticed is a little 'browning' of the leather on one side. Very minimal. Had a hard time finding information online about fixing that. Is it an effect of the leatherette aging? Or rust from the metal underneath? How does one 'clean' those brown spots? Here is the listing for reference: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rolleiflex-Auto ... SwtnpXiHTT

I seem to have some sort of issue wit my light metering diodes in my 35 SE.
I use 4 stacked 1,5 volt batteries (I know, it adds up to too much voltage), and it has worked fine so far. However, now it seems when I turn the shutter time dial, sometimes both the top and bottom red diode lights up. Anyone with an idea of what this could be? Or perhaps this is the way it is supposed to be and I have to read the manual in more detail?

Thanks!
Anton

(http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/351743298534? ... EBIDX%3AIT)

but for the life of me can't see how it fits, even following the pictures on their site. The scissors will (just) fit inside the rectangular aperture but not the rest of the metal clip and nor will it fit under the upper portion of the lug to mount on the thinner metal pole of the attachment.

Is this a known issue, model specific, or just me being a muppet again?! Thanks in advance for any possible help or advice.

David

How about members showing some of their photos? Posts about serial numbers and model identification plentiful, but I like to look at pictures.
