Hi RolleiClub,

This is my first post... I just purchased a Rolleiflex 3.5 75mm Planar at an estate sale and had it CLA'd. Today I sat down to look up the serial number and I'm confused. The serial number is DBP 1863370 DBGM, but when looking at the serial number lists provided by many of the rollei websites out there, the features don't match up. Can anyone help me identify this camera model? I'd like to sell it locally in the Bay Area or on eBay, but need to know the exact model number before I can do that. Thanks for your advice! Best, Ben

Call it a 3.5E. There is some bit of confusion because there were names used in the US that were different than in Europe.
What you have looks to be a beautiful camera and I would give you a hundred dollars for it now and save your ebay trouble.

Where is the problem? There are enough suckers out there bidding on any Rolleiflex from any period of time equipped with any kind of lens, being advertised on eBay as a "Rolleiflex 2,8F".

You bought it without knowing the precise name, so will the next person ... just make a few sugestive defocused blurred pourly lit pics not showing the serial number ...
