Using Lens Hood & Filter

Postby mandomatic » Tue Jan 19, 2016 8:56 am

Hi there, I'm a newbie to Rolleiflex TLR and started using my 2.8F for B&W street photography.
Is it possible to use a lens hood along with a filter?
It seems you can only use one or the other. Is this correct?

You can use a filter with the lens hood on. Put the filter on first. Most of the B&W filters don't have a bayonet attachment on the front so you can't stack the filters, lens hood or no. However color correction filters generally do have the bayonet attachment on front so you can use more than one filter.

Filters and the lens hood each attach in a different manner. Filters have a male bayonet. The Hood is a female bayonet. No conflicts.
