TLR and panoramas

Postby kivivuori » Wed Dec 27, 2006 1:33 am

Hi,

I`ve been making panoramas succesfully using varioius methods and would like to use my 2.8 F for that purpose also. I have a Rollei panoramic head, but the examples I´ve seen in the net taken with this combination (head & TLR) have been pretty much inferor. It is possible that there have not been enough overlap between the frames, but still...

Do you know any perfect examples ?

I just got one for my 2.8F and it doesn't work perfectly. I think that the only way you can get near perfect pano shots is to use a 3.5 focused to infinite.

Hello kivivuori,

to take correct panoramas you have to use the pan head and the rolleifix.
Because you reach with the rolleifix the nodal point of the camera.
Tripoid, pan head, rolleifix and then the TLR.

Greetings from Germany and a happy new year!!!
