the International Rollei Club

Hi,

I have a Rollei 35S. I did some research and found that this camera was made at a Rollei factory in Singapore. My camera, however, says "Made in Germany by Rollei" on the back.

The serial number on the back is 6510689. The serial number on the Sonnar f/2.8 4mm lens is 2222988.

Can anyone tell me if this was actually made in Germany?

Your camera received a "Made in Germany"-engraved back (probably as a replacement for a dented one).
