As I know the Schneider lenses 35, 50 and 135 were the cheap choose in the Rollei SL system.
Up to now I never buy one of this lenses and I own the Zeiss version for all.
Someone has compared the lenses in the field and can tell me his opinion ?
Cheers

Schneider lenses for Rollei not bad at all. I have tried the 135/3.5 tele-xenar, 50/1.8 Xenar and the 35/2.8 Curtagon. Surprisingly the 35/2.8 curtagon has very brillant colour, like the Zeiss lenses, whereas the 50 and the 135 have more neutral colour.

I like the Schneider 1,8/50 and the 3,5/135, but with several 2,8/35 I was unable to get the microprisms "clear", an early warning sign for pics lacking sharpness ... and that's the way the pics turned out.

Thanks for both answer, about the Curtagon I know that this lens was not selled by Rollei but from Schneider, the 35 selled by Rollei was the Angulon and my question was on this lens. Don't know if the lens design is different.
However when I find some auctions on Schneider lenses with good price, I will give a try.
