Coming up a users advertising section

rolleiclubleader

Finally , after over a year in the planning, it is almost there : a Rolleiclub market.
Before finalizing it I would ask all users to complete a simple poll:

Do you want a Classifieds market where you set a price and negotiate with prospect buyer , by email and or telephone? Or do you prefer an eBay like auction site tailored for photographic equipment ?

Yes, classified for me as well. I'm not the biggest fan of auction sales.

I really like the auction format, but in this case I think a classified system would generate higher prices for sellers and a larger selection for buyers. I would say that people who enjoy the "Rollei Niche" are a very small part of the auction market. The would be better served by the classified format. Now Ebay uses both the auction and fixed price...There may be some way to provide both.

Classifieds everytime, there's already enough auction sites out there and enough competition between buyers.

I say keep it true and simple with straight forward items for sale and desired price.

By the way has anyone got a Bay 3 Infra-Red filter they never use?

Yes, CLASSIFIED would be fine.
