Hi all Rollei fans,
I have a RolleiMetric system with a metric body, 2 calibrated (metric) lenses plus a couple of non metric lenses. Has anyone had any experience removing the 'resseau' plate from one of these units? I no longer use it for photogrammetric work but I am not sure whether it is worth more 'as is' or with the metric stuff removed. It is so rare that enquiries so far have failed to find anyone who has anything to do with such a unit.
If anyone is interested in this stuff please contact me and I can send photos of all my Rollei gear. Any advice (or offers) will be gratefully received.
Thanking you,
Tony Atkin

For commercial value it does not make much of a difference between a "user" 3003 and a "collector 3003 metric", but the "unmetrified/unresseaued 3003" wll probably go for less than a regular 3003 or a metric 3003.
My advice? Try to find a collecotr for the 3003 metric including the metric lenses, get a regular 3003 or SL 35 E to use the regular lenses (or sell them as well).
The metric lenses are a pain in the neck to use for regular photography.
I'm "saturated" when it comes to metric stuff (haev a 3003 and some lenses plus a 6060 metric ;-)
Best
