I'm interested in how users of a Rollei mount an electronic flash. I have the original Rollei flash which mounted to the view lens bayonet but flashbulbs are kind of extinct. So how do you use an strobe flash? Where/how do you mount it?

I put a speedlite in an old flash bracket.
It's a L shaped piece of metal with a grip and a hot shoe. It screws into the tripod mount of a camera. I put a speed lite in the hot shoe, and I used a short sync cord to connect the flash to the camera.
It works fine, and you can probably find a bracket really cheap, mine was in a random box of 35mm gear. |
