The Rollei 35 Classic Gold 75th anniversary

This is the Rollei 35 Classic Gold 75th Anniversary limited Edition. All camera parts are Gold plated, except for the lens barrel which is chrome. Top and bottom covers are high luster polished. Next to the viewer window in the front of the camera is a solid 18 K gold plate with a diamond insert.
The price in 1995 was DM 6,500 (US $ 3,250)
Rollei made only a limited series of 900 of these cameras for the 75 Year Celebration of the Rollei Factory. The Rollei 35 Classic Gold 75th Anniversary camera was manufactured between January and December 1995.
Serial numbers were assigned to mark the month of production (75 cameras made each month of the year 1995): 01/01 - 75/01 for January, and so on until 01/12 - 75/12 for December. Serials are engraved on top of camera.
The Camera came in a set including flash 20REB, brown real leather case with black piping, Mahogany wooden presentation box, 75th Anniversary book.
